On Sunday, October 23rd, 2016, Philadelphia's best wedding vendors gathered at my studio. We hosted the best Philadelphia fall bridal event for 40 lucky Philadelphia brides on this special afternoon!
This past summer, I approached Lauren Hartman of Trousseau Style over about hosting a fall bridal event. Lauren is a wardrobe stylist for the big day and beyond. She's your girl if you need help picking your engagement photo outfit or if your closet needs a refresh (or major overhaul). From helping make swag bags to vendor selection, Lauren was - as always - beyond helpful! Thank you Lauren!
Christy Howton of Papertree Studio designed our event logo and printed invitations. Lora Hurst of Laurel and Elm helped with day-of flow and logistics. Thank you ladies!
On the day of, Everlaser's signage told guests to head on up to the 12th floor. Brides to be were welcomed with a gift bag stuffed with goodies from Shimmer and Spice, Philadelphia Wedding Magazine, Whipped, and so much more.
BHLDN's newest gowns greeted our guests at the door. I'm so excited for all of the Philadelphia brides to shop BHLDN's new location at the Rittenhouse store!
I loved playing with wedding bands with all of the new brides to be. My new bridal jewelry line with Trousseau Style officially launched - yes, it's all real gold and pearls! Shop our heirloom pieces here.
Yummy snacks were provided by Whipped Bakeshop. I fell in love with the cute little macarons in each gift bag! Weckerly's Ice Cream has the tastiest mini ice cream sandwiches to sample. Wouldn't an ice cream bar cart be too cute at a summer wedding?
One of the best parts of the afternoon was sipping cocktails from 13th Street Cocktails. Aaron and Alex really know their cocktails. The best part? They'll have your signature drink on tap, so your guests will never have to wait long for a fancy drink.
For brides looking to nail down their wedding day details, we had the perfect florist, calligrapher, stationer, and sign maker on hand! Val Braverman of Brave Floral showcased a gorgeous arrangement in flickering candlelight. Julie Acree of Ecrit en Bleu showed off her unreal calligraphy skills. Christy Howton of Papertree showed off her incredible range with dozens of invitation suites on display. BTW - be sure to check out Christy's soon-to-be opened retail store in South Jersey! Rounding out all the pretty little details, Lexi Eveleth of Everlaser brought her laser cut goodness. If you need cool wedding photobooth props, Lexi is your girl.
Occasions by Diana dolled up all of our guests! Diana Duhaime is an on-location makeup artist specializing in bridal and editorial makeup. She had a braid bar, and I was loving all of the french and fishtail braids I saw. I was lucky enough to have Diana do my makeup before the event - Thanks Diana!
Throughout the day, guests were treated to the sounds of the Friends with Benefits Band. These guys (and a gal) were ah-mazing!
Maria Mack captured beautiful photos of the event. Maria's style is light, airy, and always beautiful. Maria is a hybrid wedding photographer, shooting both film and digital.
