The first step in creating the ring is determining which center stone you want to go with. Let's say for example you decide on a diamond engagement ring, based on your budget I will source diamonds that are affordable for you. Depending on whether your budget is lower or higher will determine the size and clarity of the diamond. You can tell me if you want to give on size or clarity if your budget is smaller. If your budget is larger you can go for a bigger stone with excellent clarity, and so on.
One suggestion I make to clients with a smaller budget is considering an alternative center stone such as a sapphire. Non-traditional engagement rings are so trendy these days, and so many people come to me wanting to incorporate different gemstones into their rings.
Once you decide on a center stone, from their we get into ring design and deciding which metal you would like to use. I will walk you through the different types, for example 14k yellow gold vs. 18k yellow gold. Based on your budget and what we have to work with after deciding on a stone we will choose the right metal for you!
